September was a month filled with creativity in my studio. I explored new themes through paintings that balance spirituality, vibrant florals, and folk-inspired traditions. In this post, I’m sharing highlights from the Women Saint Series, Flower Series, and Folk Series, three bodies of work that reflect my love of color, rhythm, and connection.
Women Saint Series
Exploring spirituality, meditation, and our shared connection to the divine.
Transcend This work centers on spirituality and the interconnectedness of all beings. The Saint’s wings, placed at the sides of her head, reference the ability to be present in all parts of the world at once. It is a reminder that we are all connected, woven together in a shared existence.

Closer to Gods Set against a vast, star-filled sky, this piece reflects the quiet pull toward something greater than ourselves. With closed eyes, the Saint embodies both wonder and surrender, as though suspended between earth and the divine. It speaks to the human desire for connection with the infinite and the mystery that lies beyond.

Flower Series
Color, joy, and the fleeting beauty of nature.
Pink Blooms
A vibrant diptych filled with layers of pink blossoms. It’s an explosion of color and joy, painted to celebrate abundance and beauty.
Cosmos Blossom
Soft pink and red cosmos flowers dance against a blue sky. Their movement and simplicity reflect fleeting summer days and a sense of calm renewal.

Summer Flowers
Bold yellow petals spread across the canvas, echoing fields of wild black-eyed Susans. This piece is full of energy and warmth—bright and spirited like the season itself.

Folk Series
Whimsy, tradition, and timeless patterns.
Autumn Tree A whimsical tree with fiery orange leaves and playful birds perched in its branches. Rooted in folk tradition, it celebrates the change of seasons.

Spring Tree Bright and cheerful, this tree bursts with fresh green leaves and colorful birds. It captures the joy of new beginnings and spring’s playful spirit.

Folk Flowers With strong lines and vivid colors, this floral design channels traditional folk art. It’s both decorative and symbolic, inspired by nature’s timeless patterns.

Looking Ahead
September gave me the chance to follow different threads of inspiration—from meditative figures to blooming flowers and folk traditions. Each painting feels connected to the others, like part of a larger conversation. I’m excited to see how these ideas continue to unfold in the months ahead.
All of the artwork I’ve shared here is available to collectors. You can view more of my original paintings on my website and contact me directly if a piece resonates with you.
Thank you for reading, and for being part of my world as an artist.
